Yesterday I woke up at 8:30 to eat the most delicious breakfast creation known to man and watch Katy Perry sing on the Today show. It was cool. But then I went and bought Vampire Weekend's debut album and my day was marvelous. Buying the physical album, reading the lyrics in the insert, (pardon my use of the Oxford Comma) and digging the cover art was amazing! I really like purchasing music. At any rate, the album is great and they should be releasing another one come September, so woohoo!

ooh, i love it too! getting the darn shrink wrap off, going through the booklet and reading the lyrics and studying the design, and popping that disc into my 11-year-old walkman... sigh. tis wondrous. :)
